Closure Information

Becker College Closure Information

Spring 2021

The Board of Trustees voted to permanently close Becker College at the end of academic year 2020-2021. The College will provide academic, support and transitional services to students through August 31, 2021.  Following an orderly transition, classes will not resume in Fall 2021.

Becker College is still committed to doing everything possible to ensure that its students (current & former), faculty, and staff have access to important information going forward.  Becker College signed agreements with several area universities to provide program completion pathways to Becker students, often with enhanced transfer and other opportunities; those agreements are available on the Academic Pathways page.

Withdrawing from Becker

Students who are not planning to receive a Becker degree before the end of 2021 should submit an official withdrawal form to the Registrar once they have transferred or are otherwise ready to withdraw from Becker. This information is important because it allows us to know which students still require assistance in making their next steps. To do this, use the following form: withdrawal form.

Obtaining your Transcript

Becker College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide electronic ordering of an official paper transcript or to have a transcript sent electronically. The site will walk you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees. Electronic transcript delivery as well as standard paper transcript delivery is free. There are fees associated with requests for expedited delivery. To order an official transcript(s), go to www.getmytranscript.com. You can order as many transcripts as you like in a single session. Order updates will be emailed to you. You can also track your order online.

Following the closure of Becker College, Worcester State University will be obtaining Becker College’s academic records and will provide Becker transcripts in the future. At a later date to be determined, Worcester State University will provide information on its website on how to request a Becker College transcript. That date will be posted here as soon as it’s available.

Please check back for further updates and information.
