Accuplacer Testing Information
September/Fall Semester Students
Incoming students to Becker College will complete the Accuplacer published by the College Board as part of new student assessment. The placement testing scores are not part of admission to the college, but an assessment of the student’s current skill level and therefore part of the registration process. The placement test scores help us to register students in appropriate courses. Students are required to take some or all of the placement test must do so prior to attending an Orientation program and registering for classes.
- New students with no previous college experience will be required to take assessments in reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Transfer students will be evaluated for placement testing requirements. Parts, or all, of the test may be waived depending upon the individual student’s college coursework and their chosen major. If you have a question regarding whether or not you are required to take any part of the assessment test, contact admissions at matthew.morrison@becker.edu or call (508) 373-9400.
