Career Services Mission Statement
Career Services' mission is to provide Becker students and alumni with effective career education, advising, resources, and programming. Becker members who engage in these services should feel more empowered to achieve their career goals, and to effectively position themselves in the job or internship market.
Career education and advising is acheived through individual appointments, workshops, or a combination. and includes skill development and planning in the following competency areas: career / industry research, job / internship search, resume / cover letters, interviews, and networking / informational interviews, and more.
Programming and resources are designed to help Becker candidates establish connections with appropriate employers and internship sponsors. Examples include, but are not limited to: job / internship listing web site, workshops, career fairs, and recruiters on campus.
