Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Management Concentration
The Accelerated Bachelor of Science degree program in Business Administration (BSBA), with a Management concentration is designed for the working adult who is looking to advance their career. Class time is spent working in ‘real work’ environments, examining case studies, work simulations, team projects and in breakout sessions or discussion groups. This is the way business operates and this is how you will be spending class time. This approach is designed to provide the BSBA candidate with the strategic, managerial, leadership and change management skills essential for today’s dynamic business workplace.
The BSBA focuses on 16 core management courses, taken sequentially, in a ‘Cohort’ format. This means you will be working with a group of students whose goals and objectives are similar to yours, and who, for the next 20-22 months will be your ‘working partners’.
Classes meet one night a week for four (4) hours (6:00pm to 10:00pm), with the expectation that student-led study groups will take place outside of class each week. These ‘meetings’ may be face to face, or may use today’s business technology to accomplish their goals.
To earn your BSBA at Becker’s Accelerated & Professional Studies program, you must complete 122 credits. A maximum of 72 credits may be transferred into Becker College from other accredited colleges or universities. Students are required to earn 50 credits through core management courses at Becker College.
